Pulsed UV Curing System Replaces Continuous Wave UV for Printing

A new, energy-efficient pulsed UV curing system that operates with low heat and is ideally suited for integration into in-line printing and packaging systems is being introduced by Xenon Corporation of Wilmington, MA.

Xenon's CoolCureXL® RC-801 Curing System for printing systems features pulsed UV light which provides instant on/off control with fast cycle times and low heat; for use on a variety of different substrates. Suitable for most systems using UV-curable inks, pulsed UV curing systems can be made with custom designed lamps to match specific in-line printing footprints for paper, film, foil, fabric, labels, packages, CDs, and DVDs.

A safe and effective replacement for continuous wave mercury UV, Xenon's CoolCureXL® RC-801 Curing System lets the printing and packaging OEM or integrator set the UV dose from 10% to 100% max. Producing <300 microsecond pulses, this system consists of a lamp housing, a controller, and power supply, and does not create or use harmful VOCs.

Xenon's CoolCureXL® RC-801 Curing System for printing systems are priced from $9,950.00, depending upon configuration and quantity. Literature and price quotations are available upon request.
