PCM5 series converts 4-20 mA signal from process/temperature controller or computer to time proportional output. Mounted directly on single 3-32 Vdc Input SSR, module supports single-phase, 50 or 60 Hz operation and tolerates inputs of less than 4 mA. In manufacturing environment, series is used with process controller and solid state relay to control electric heaters for oven drying manufactured parts. Other areas of use include water, chemical, automotive, and food processing industries.

Omega's new PCM5 series module converts a 4 to 20 mA signal from a process/temperature controller or computer to a time proportional output. This pulse control module mounts directly on a single 3 to 32 Vdc Input SSR and supports single phase 50 or 60 Hz operation. The CE compliant PCM5 tolerates inputs less than 4 mA. In a manufacturing environment, the PCM5 is used with a process controller and solid state relay to control electric heaters for oven drying manufactured parts. PCM5 is also ideal in Water, Chemical, Automotive and Food Processing industries.
