HTD pulleys and belts include timing pulleys, starting at 5 mm pitch to suit 9, 15, and 25 mm wide belts, available with pilot or taper bore. Different versions are available depending on number of teeth required. Standard pitches also include 8 and 14 mm, which suit belts to 85 mm. Depending on size, pulleys are steel with zinc-plated steel flanges or cast iron, and belts are glass fiber reinforced, rubber back/teeth with nylon fabric tooth facing to DIN/ISO 5296.

Ondrives HTD Pulleys and Belts
HTD (high torque drive) pulleys and belts have been added to the already extensive power transmission gear range available now from Ondrives Ltd.
The timing pulleys start at 5mm pitch to suit 9mm, 15mm and 25mm wide belts and are available with either a pilot or taper bore as standard. There are generally 2 or 3 executions depending on the number of teeth required, this is denoted in the catalogue. 8mm and 14mm pitches are also standard to the range with many more executions (types) available in these sizes and belts go up to 85mm wide as standard with larger ones available on request. Depending on the size chosen, HTD pulleys are either steel with zinc plated steel flanges or cast iron and belts are glass fibre reinforced, rubber back/teeth with nylon fabric tooth facing to DIN/ISO 5296. A range of taper bushes are also available to suit these timing pulleys where required in sintered iron.
High torque drive pulleys and belts enable a low belt tension and bearing load, wide power/speed range, low maintenance, small space requirements and smooth constant running speeds which ensures they are suitable for very low as well as high speeds.
