Unmatched rich media, analytics and design features help boost readership and revenue

LONDON, Eng. - Oct. 30th, 2008 - Digital publishing solutions provider Zmags today launches Zmags Publicator(TM) 3.0, the most feature-rich, self-service software for transforming traditional print media and PDF files into more appealing interactive presentations that increase readership, lower publishing costs and boost online sales.

Zmags Publicator(TM) 3.0, which has been in development for two years, takes the current Zmags e-publishing solution to a higher level. Combining a much deeper level of sophistication yet retaining Zmags' renowned functionality and ease of use, the upgraded e-publishing solution features a raft of new developments including:

Unique 3D content views, for a richer reader experience.
Full customization of the control panel, for more design creativity and better alignment with corporate branding. Colours, fonts, shadows, transparency and shine are some of the many details that can be changed with a click of a button.
The ability to create Zmags with tabbed views and integrate multiple publications into one file, to create a better online shopping experience and facilitate cross-sales and conversions.

Use of the latest Flash technology: AS3.
Zmags is known for its exceptional analytics and SEO capabilities, and for its ability to give users wide design latitude within a framework of templates for virtually any type of publication - including magazines, catalogues, brochures and reports. Customers include Harrods, Body Shop, Dorothy Perkins, Top Shop, IKEA, Microsoft and Volkswagen.

Existing users will be offered a free upgrade to Version 3.0, whilst new users will be offered Version 3.0 at the same price as the previous Zmags e-publishing solution. All prospective users are invited to trial the new solution free of charge for a period of 14 days.

"Zmags Version 3.0 has been created in response to user suggestions and recommendations," said Jens Karstoft, CEO of Zmags. "We know that publishers are singularly focused on boosting circulation and the way to do that is through richer, value-added content, including new, more effective options for advertisers," he added before continuing, "Zmags enables companies to very easily add interactive features, analyze what works, and constantly improve the way they present content. Customers consistently report on average a 50 percent increase in online readership after switching to Zmags."

According to Karstoft, adoption of the Zmags platform quadrupled between January and October 2008, with visits to customers' Zmag publications surging from 50,000 to 200,000 per day. In addition, in September 2008 Zmags signed its 2000th customer.
