March 18, 2004 - Series IT Miniature Inductive Sensors are 6.5 mm in diameter and have smooth bodies, measuring 30 mm in length. Series IE sensors are 8 mm in diameter with 30 mm threaded-body lengths. Suited for assembly automation equipment, both types offer 2 mm flush or 4 mm non-flush sensing ranges. Units are dc PNP, normally open, and have stainless steel housing.

Miniature Proximity Sensors Offer Extended Sensing Range and Short Body Length for Applications with Limited Mounting Space


EXTON, PA - February 4, 2004 - ifm efector inc. introduces two lines of miniature inductive sensors for assembly automation equipment with limited mounting space. The IT line of miniature sensors are 6.5mm in diameter and have smooth bodies, measuring 30mm in length. The IE line of sensors are 8mm in diameter with 30mm threaded body lengths. Both families include sensors with 2mm flush or 4mm non-flush sensing ranges. The sensors are DC PNP, normally open and have a stainless steel housing for greater tightening torque.
