Polyethersulfone valve body and EPDM seal meet requirements of beverage equipment applications, and valve can achieve flow rate from 0%-100% as regulated by power input to coil. With proper feedback mechanism and drive circuitry, stable flow rate can be obtained with varying incoming pressures and other application variables.

Milwaukee, WI - Deltrol Controls, a leader in the manufacture of solenoids, relays, and dispensing valves, now offers a proportional solenoid valve that is ideally suited to control the flow of water at temperatures up to 200 degrees F. The valve performs at operating pressures of up to 90 psi and achieves flow rates of up to 1.7 fluid ounces per second.

Ideally suited for beverage equipment such as coffee machines and powdered drink dispensers or any application where accurate control of water or air flow is required, the Deltrol proportional solenoid valve is constructed with a polyethersulfone (PES) valve body and EPDM seal, which are well matched to the requirements of beverage equipment applications.

A proportional valve can achieve a flow rate from 0% to 100%, or anywhere from fully off to fully open (regulated by the power input to the coil). With the proper feedback mechanism and drive circuitry, a stable flow rate can be obtained with varying incoming pressures and other application variables. Deltrol's model is designed for performance and cost effectiveness.

A precision design, the Deltrol proportional solenoid valve connects in and out via compression fittings. It is standardized for either a 5/16" (8mm) or 1/4" (6mm) fitting.

NSF certification is pending for this valve, which comes in a choice of three standard voltages, 12, 24, and 36 DC.
