Profiler utilizes Windows-based operating software.

Press Release Summary:

WinCamD 3-dimensional beam intensity profiler features 4.65 µm square pixel size and 14-bit analog-to-digital converter that gives it greater than 16,000 levels of intensity resolution. WinCamD includes pass/fail settings for beam width, relative power, Gaussian and top hat fit, and data logging. It can be used for pulsed (as low as 1 Hz) or continuous-wave beams. Use of variable electronic shutter provides dynamic range of 60,000:1.

Three-Dimensional Profiling at a Low Price

Irvine, California - Melles Griot announces a new 3-dimensional beam intensity profiler, the WinCamD(TM). The WinCamD features one of the smallest pixel sizes in a CCD beam profiler (4.65 sm square) and a 14-bit analog-to-digital converter that gives it greater than 16,000 levels of intensity resolution, all within a compact sensor head.

The WinCamD, designed for use in both laboratory and manufacturing environments, features pass/fail settings for beam width, relative power, Gaussian and top hat fit, data logging, and more. It can be used for pulsed (as low as 1 Hz) or continuous-wave beams. Use of the variable electronic shutter provides a dynamic range of 60,000:1 (48 dB). Prices start at only $4,250, making the WinCamD one of the most affordable 3-D intensity profilers on the market.

A part of the Melles Griot family of beam instrumentation products, WinCamD continues the tradition of quality and ease of use with Windows-based operating software and industry-standard M6 or 1/4-20 mounting interfaces. The WinCamD was designed to be simple enough for users of all experience levels, while providing comprehensive performance and features.
