Wood Dale, IL - In many manufacturing industries, removing heat from a process is achieved by the continuous use of fresh water. Not only does this deplete our underground fresh water reserves, but it is also becoming cost prohibitive. The solution: a closed-loop cooling system from AEC.
Closed-loop systems are available for a variety of applications. An AEC evaporative style cooling tower utilizes ambient air to remove heat and can be used when 85°F process water is acceptable. The AEC Fluid Cooling System packages a water-to-air heat exchanger and a pumping system to cool process water when water temperature of 5°F above the ambient dry bulb temperature is acceptable. Factory plumbed and pre-wired, this system arrives with complete plug-n-play capabilities. When process water temperatures at or below 70°F are necessary, an AEC chiller is required. Combining a chiller and a supplemental free cooler further reduces overall energy consumption and operating costs.
