New Datamax I 4208 Printer with T-Lab Option Specifically Designed for Test Tube Labeling
The exclusive T-Lab option from ID Solutions enables the Datamax I 4208 to automatically print, peel, and present barcoded labels for application to test tubes, and assures their proper placement. This feature was developed for high volume test tube label production. The T-Lab option allows labels as small as 5/8" x 1/2" to be easily presented and lifted from the printer. The standard Datamax I 4208 "peel and present" mechanism requires that the labels be 1 1/2" high.
Technicians are able to print and apply barcoded labels at a rate of more than 40 per minute. Proper placement of the label is assured by the design and placement of the T-Lab assembly, along with the new tube position guide. Placement of the label is critical to the analyzer's scanners reading of the code and keeping the automated process running without delay.
