Airless Labeling System

ID Technology has designed a printer applicator corner-wrap labeling system that does not require factory air. Instead, vacuum is created by an electric fan to hold the label in place prior to label application. After the label is printed using a thermal transfer print engine, the label is held onto a pivoting vacuum grid attached to a follow along roller. This labeling module applies the label to the side and around the leading corner of a case or carton as the box travels along a conveyor.

This design is also a space saver with a compact footprint (16" deep by 38" long, measuring along the length of the conveyor) for production floors with limited space.

Even with the narrow aisle design, operators can easily access the pneumatics, electronics and other components because the entire system is a truly modular design. All applicator modules can be replaced within moments by removing two or four bolts, installing a new module, and getting back in to production.

ID Technology, a division of Pro Mach, is a manufacturer and integrator of labeling, coding and marking systems, as well as, peripheral equipment, supplies and service.
