Now Available: Steam Pressure Washers with Automatic Shutoff Technology®

Daimer Industries®' ships Super Max(TM) 15500 machines with AST®, a technology that offers saves time for operators of electric pressure washers.

WOBURN, MA - September 11, 2009 - Daimer Industries, Inc.®, a major supplier and worldwide exporter of commercial cleaning products, introduced two new stationary heated electric-powered, pressure washers, the Super Max(TM) 15500AST. The multi-mode machines can clean with cold water, hot water or wet steam and feature Automatic Shut-Off Technology(TM) (AST®), which switches off critical components after 30 seconds of inactivity.

"AST® shuts off pumps and motors when the pressure washers are idle," said Daimer.com spokesman Matthew Baratta. "This new equipment saves time and effort and are ideal for operators who are working far from the system with long hoses."

What is AST®?

AST® works as follows: When engaged, the technology shuts down the pump and motor after 30 seconds if the gun is not in use and water is not flowing through the system. When the power washer operator pulls the trigger again, the motor and pump go on.

This feature is particularly useful for applications in which the pressure washer operator is working far from the machine and it is not practical to go back and forth to turn it off during every work break. The motors and pumps in most electric pressure washers remain active whether or not water is flowing through the machine, which can damage the pump and motor.

New Super Max Equipment

Super Max(TM) 15500AST power washers offer pressure levels of up to 1000 psi, flow rates of up to 4 GPM and 3 HP electric motors.

The multi-mode machines can clean with cold water, hot water between 180ºF- 220ºF or wet steam with temperatures of up to 330ºF. The machines include a heavy-duty schedule 80 heating coil and can heat with no.1 or no. 2 heating oil; diesel; kerosene; natural gas; or propane. For heating oil, kerosene or diesel fuels, the machines have a 9-gallon capacity. Chemical infusion using high pressure injection is supported.

The pressure washing equipment is stationary and includes: a 50-foot, high-pressure hydraulic hose; a three-foot trigger wand with quick disconnect; assorted nozzles; and a powder-coated steel, high gloss, chip/chemical resistant case. Multi-gun operation is available as an extra-cost option.

Daimer® also offers a complete line of cold water pressure washers, gas pressure washers and steam pressure washers.
