Electric-powered, cold-water pressure washers, Super Max(TM) 8700AST and 8720AST feature Automatic Shut-Off Technology(TM) (AST®) which switches off key components after 30 sec of inactivity. Model 8700AST offers up to 1,500 psi pressure, up to 3 gpm flow rate, and has 3 hp electric motor, while 8720AST delivers up to 2,000 psi and 4 gpm using 5 hp electric motor. Accessories include 25 ft high-pressure hydraulic hose, 3 ft trigger wand with quick disconnect, and assorted nozzles.

WOBURN, MA - July 3, 2009 - Daimer Industries, a major supplier and worldwide exporter of commercial cleaning products, introduced two new electric-powered, cold-water pressure washers, the Super Max(TM) 8700AST and 8720AST. The machines feature Automatic Shut-Off Technology(TM) (AST®), which switches off key components in these electric-powered, pressure washers after 30 seconds of inactivity.

What is AST®?
AST® works as follows: When engaged, the technology shuts off the pump and motor after 30 seconds if the gun is not in use and water is not flowing through the system. When the pressure washer operator pulls the trigger again, the motor and pump go on.
This feature is particularly useful for applications in which the pressure washer operator is working a distance from the machine and it is not practical to go back and forth to turn it off during every work break. The pumps and motors in most electric pressure washers remain active whether or not water is flowing through the system -- this can damage the pump and motor.
New Super Max Pressure Washers
Super Max(TM) 8700AST high pressure washers offer pressure levels of up to 1500 psi, flow rates of up to 3 GPM and 3 HP electric motors. The Super Max(TM) 8720 machines offer pressure levels of up to 2000 psi, flows rate of up to 4 GPM and 5 HP electric motors.
The pressure washing equipment is on wheels and include: a 25-foot, high-pressure hydraulic hose; a three-foot trigger wand with quick disconnect; assorted nozzles; and a powder-coated steel, high gloss, chip/chemical resistant case.
