Sioux Corporation's Patented SCR Advanced Temperature Control for the EN-Series All-Electric line of hot water pressure washers and steam cleaners allows for simple regulation of the outlet water temperature, while greatly extending the life of critical components on the unit and reducing maintenance and repair costs.

Using the Sioux SCR control, an outlet temperature within +/- 1F of the set temperature can be achieved. By minimizing extreme fluctuations, which cause expansion and contraction of the element, the SCR extends the life of the heating element up to 20 times. Since the heating element contactors are not cycling on and off continuously, the life of the contactors is increased and the maintenance time and cost for replacing these components is reduced. The SCR is controlled by a solid-state device that has no moving parts, so maintenance and repairs to the controller are eliminated.

The SCR controller is easy to use. Up and down arrow keys allow for easy adjustment of the outlet water temperature. A digital readout display module shows the set and actual outlet water temperature.

The SCR controller is beneficial for the following applications: on multi-gun units; when fluctuations in the inlet water temperature are possible; or when precise regulation of the outlet temperature is critical to the application.
