Dynisco to Launch New Family of Smart Pressure Transmitters at NPE 2003
Franklin, MA (March 17, 2003) - Dynisco, LLC will introduce the new SPX Series of smart pressure transmitters at NPE 2003 (North Hall Booth #5526) in Chicago, IL this June. The new pressure transmitters provide processors a 4 - 20 mA output for pressure measurement and will have HART communication functionality. The SPX Series is designed for all extrusion and process pressure measurements, ranging from 25 to 30,000 psi.
Dynisco's new SPX Series maintains up to 0.25% pressure measurement accuracy at process temperatures up to 400°C. Stand-alone pressure transmitters are available, as are dual temperature and pressure configurations.
Dynisco's smart transmitters offer processors many benefits, including:
• Accurate pressure measurement up to 0.25% at process temperatures up to 400°C and at pressure ranges of 25 to 30,000 psig.
• The SPX Series is available in a variety of mounting configurations including the process industry standards: large remote diaphragm seal (button seal), threaded (1/2-20 UNF, M18, M10, M14, etc.), small remote diaphragm seal (flange mounted) and many other custom mounting configurations.
• Accessibility from remote locations offers greater operator convenience and safety, plus easier startup and maintenance. The HART communicator is attached to the 4-20 mA signal loop at any convenient location, enabling transmitter adjustments and diagnostics from the control room or other remote locations.
• Transmitter approvals from PTB, CSA and FM. These approvals include Explosion Proof, intrinsic Safety, ATEX, CE, and others.
