EAST WENATCHEE, WA - 07/2009 Paine Electronics, the leader in precision pressure and temperature instrumentation since 1951, is pleased to announce the release of its new Miniature S-Class Transducer Series ("Mini S-Class"). Paine'sŪ new Mini S-Class transducers incorporate nearly two decades of mission critical product history as well as its proven sensor technology to introduce the smallest S-Class transducer to date!
Designed to operate in the most extreme space and satellite environments, this new lightweight rugged transducer provides accurate and reliable measurements at pressure ranges from 0-500 to 0-5,000 PSIS* and is provided in a small 2.47" (62.73mm) in length by 0.82" (20.8mm) diameter package and weights only, 4.0 ounces (0.11 kg).
The Mini S-Class Series is offered to system designers seeking accuracy and reliability in a small footprint for applications in satellite propulsion and space vehicles as well as in applications where transducer size and mounting options are a concern. From radiation hardening to 100KRad (Si) total dose, immunity to Single Event Latchup (SEL) to high-level signal amplification, 0-5VDC output and built-in Class 'S' QML-V / ELDRS free electronics, the Mini S-Class Series transducers are well suited for the toughest applications.
