July 16, 2008 - Designed for high-pressure oil and gas drilling and safety shutdown markets, Models P4 and P9 mechanical pressure switches feature up to 12,500 psig adjustable set point range. Snap-action Belleville spring assembly provides vibration resistance and set-point stability, and choice of ¼ in. NPT (female), ¼ or 3/8 in. medium or high-pressure (male or female) autoclave connections are also available. Units are Class I, Div. 1 rated, UL approved, and ATEX certified.

United Electric Controls Releases Pressure Switch Models with Ranges to 12,500 psi for Oil and Gas Market


United Electric Controls has introduced two new pressure switch models within its popular and rugged, all stainless steel 12 Series product line. The new P4 and P9 models have an adjustable set point range up to 12,500 psig - among the highest settable pressure ranges for a mechanical pressure switch. A choice of ¼" NPT (female), ¼" or 3/8" medium or high-pressure (male or female) autoclave connections are available. The snap-action Belleville spring assembly provides vibration resistance and set-point stability. Designed to meet the increasing demands of high-pressure oil and gas drilling and safety shutdown, the Class I, Div. 1 rated pressure switch is UL approved and ATEX certified for use worldwide.
