Pressure Regulator targets space critical applications.

Press Release Summary:

Diaphragm pressure regulator Model PRD controls output pressures from 0-40 psig, with maximum rated inlet supply pressure of 300 psig. Both inlet and outlet ports are tapped 10-32 UNF. Suited for gas and pnemuatic applications, non-relieving, single-stage regulator is offered in brass, anodized aluminum, 303 stainless steel for corrosion resistance, and 316 stainless steel for high purity applications. Unit can be mounted inline or panel mounted.

Original Press Release:

Pressure Regulators/Gauges : Diaphragm Regulators : Single-Stage Ultra Miniature Diaphragm Pressure Regulator

The new PRD regulator sets an industry standard for miniaturization as well as lightweight. It is an excellent choice for gas and pneumatic pressure regulation applications and is particularly useful when space and weight are critical. The PRD weighs about 26.5 grams in brass and stainless steel, and only 15 grams in aluminum.

The PRD controls output pressures from 0 to 40 psig and is especially suited to low pressure regulation such as 1/2 psig. Maximum rated inlet supply pressure is 300 psig. Both the inlet and the outlet ports are tapped 10-32 UNF. Its lightweight design allows convenient in-line mounting without the need for panel mounting. It is now available in a Panel Mounted Version for those applications requiring a robust mount. The PRD non-relieving regulator is currently available in brass, anodized aluminum where weight is critical, 303 stainless steel for extra corrosion resistance and 316 stainless steel for high purity applications. The O-ring seals and the diaphragm are Buna-N. Optional seal and diaphragm materials are available upon request.

Applications include hydrogen fuel cells, medical equipment, instruments, laboratory equipment, ink jet print engines, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
