Ondrives Precision Worms & Wheels
Ondrives are pleased to announce the launch of their new precision worms and wheels range which includes worm wheels, worms and worm shafts as standard.
They are available as regular backlash models as well as anti-backlash versions from 0.5 Mod to 3.0 Mod. Standard and anti-backlash 0.5 Module parts are made to Quality Grade 7e DIN 58405 and all other Modules in the range are made to 7e25 DIN 3961. Customers have a choice of two different materials for both the worms and worm shafts, choosing from either 817M40T steel or 303 stainless steel. When ordering, customers need to remember to specify the number of starts required on the wheel, which range from 1, 2, 3 or 4. Any number of teeth can usually be made, even out of the standard catalogue range and tapped holes, pin holes, keyways and different bore sizes are all available on request.
Complete specials to customer's drawings can also be easily quoted for and manufactured as they are all made in-house using the latest CNC machinery and 3D CAD software. An experienced technical team are also on hand to help with any queries customers may have regarding their requirements, whether they are just one-off prototypes or larbe volume batch quantities for regular production runs, the company states.
