Transfluid's HFU In-Line , Oil-Actuated Power Take Off Designed For Use With Powerful Industrial Engines

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga., March 1 - Designed for application on tub grinders, de-watering pumps, fans, compressors and marine propulsion systems, the model HFU oil-actuated power take-off manufactured by industrial transmission manufacturer Transfluid is designed to operate with today's high-speed, high power industrial engines.

The compact HFU has a complete oil-actuated, self-adjusting clutch assembly (dry plates). Its connecting flange and engine housing are both designed to meet SAE standards.

The HFU is Transfluid's new in-line PTO; oil actuation is provided by a radial oil inlet that allows for in-line installation mounting on an output shaft elastic coupling,
flexible coupling, or cardan shaft - depending on application's requirements.

Transfluid Industrial Transmissions is headquartered in Pero, Italy, near Milan. Marketed and supported in North America by Kraft Power, Inc., Transfluid's operations are based in Lawrenceville, Ga., near Atlanta. Sales of the company's extensive line of oil-activated and mechanical power take-offs, fluid couplings and other off-highway equipment are through the Lawrenceville operation and via a network of distributors
throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Kraft Power, formerly W.A. Kraft Corp., is home-based in Woburn, Mass., and, in addition to its Lawrenceville facility, has operations in New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
