Siemens Introduces Robust Wall Mounted Power Supply
ATLANTA, Nov. 11, 2008 - Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc. has introduced the SITOP Wall Mount 24VDC/ 10 A power supply designed to reliably operate under high shock and vibration conditions.
Ideal for the mining, marine and transportation industries, the robust wall mounted power supply is built with heavy duty components that are securely mounted with high temperature resistant silicon glue. The unit's heat sink is securely mounted on the housing with a clip for added toughness. Additionally, because the power supply is wall mounted, there is no danger from the spring effect of a DIN rail clip.
The SITOP Wall Mount power supply meets the following standards for high shock and vibration applications -- IEC 68-2-27 Basic Environmental Testing Procedures, Part 2; International Standard IEC 60529 Ingress Protection Rating; and MIL-STD-810F, Method 514.5, Vibration.
