Computer Power Supply has developed Model 2800 Universal High Voltage Power Supply. The 2800 Power Supply is specifically designed for capacitor charging at constant power. The Model 2800 can also be used as a constant voltage, constant current or constant power bench supply. The mode of operation can be factory or user selectable. Because of its versatility, it can be successfully used in systems in which all those modes operation can be utilized, such as electrophoresis, insulation testing, capacitor charging, etc. This model provides very high quality output voltage parameters at high reliability, since it can withstand severe short circuits, arcs and any other fast input and output transients. Over-voltage and over-current limits provide safe and reliable protection against long-term overloads and load malfunctions. The Model 2800 features up to 15kV positive or negative output, up to 135 W max of output power, 55 mA current limit, voltage input as low as 12V DC and user selectable voltage limit. The Model 2800 is housed in a compact enclosure (5"W x 3"H x 9"L) with internal fan cooling, convenient DB 9 connector for control signals and shielded high voltage cable output.
