July 22, 2004 - Housed in plastic enclosure, SGC 1 is intended for use in conjunction with SG 1 self-contained light curtain series in installations where dc supply voltage is not available and where electromechanical relay output is required. It is available with 230 or 115 Vac supply voltage, and supplies fixed output voltage of 24 Vdc, which can be NPN or PNP. Test pushbutton temporarily disables transmitter power for test purposes.

The SGC 1 is a new power supply unit, housed in a sturdy plastic enclosure, which is to be used in conjunction with the SG 1 self-contained light curtain series. The SGC 1 is intended for installations where a DC supply voltage is not available and where an electromechanical relay output is required.
The SGC 1 is available with a 230 V ac or 115 V ac supply voltage, and supplies a fixed output voltage of 24 V dc to the light curtain detectors. The output from the receiver detector can be either NPN or PNP. The unit includes a green power-on indicator and a yellow output indicator.
The SGC 1 offers a special test push button which is used to temporarily disable the transmitter power, imitating an obstruction between the light curtains for test purposes. The unit can also enable or disable the time-out function in the receiver detector, via DIP switch.
