March 14, 2002 - MKS40-Series high density enclosed switching power supplies accept universal input from 85-265 Vac and are available in 4 models that provide single outputs from 5 to 24 Vdc. All models have LED indicator, output adjustment potentiometer, 3,000 V isolation, over voltage and short circuit protection, and integral input line filtering. They operate over ambient temperature range of -10 to +60 deg C without forced cooling or output power derating.

Designed to meet the space and performance needs in low to moderate power telecommunication, industrial control and embedded systems applications, ASTRODYNE announces the MKS40-Series product line of high density enclosed switching power supplies that provide output power of 40 Watts. All models accept universal input from 85-265VAC and four models are available that provide single outputs from 5 to 24VDC. Utilizing high density SMT construction, the MKS40-Series offer dramatically reduced case sizes that are up to 30% smaller than products with similar output power and provide power densities of up to 3 Watts/cubic inch. All models in the MKS40-Series feature an integral power-good LED indicator, an output adjustment potentiometer and will operate over the ambient temperature range of -10 to +60°C without forced cooling or output power derating. All models contain over voltage, short circuit protection, and integral input line filtering. Dimensions are 4.5"L X 2.5"W X 1.5"H. All models feature screw terminal input/output connections.

Prices start at $22 in OEM quantities. Delivery is 4 weeks ARO.
