Suited for motor-based applications, Mean Well PID-250 Series features V1 output of 12/24/36/48 Vdc rated for 180-225 W of continuous power and up to 170% peak load. V2 output is 5 V at 5 A for logic control. Each output is isolated and regulated with separate remote on/off control of V1. Featuring open-frame design and convection-cooled operation, power supplies provide efficiencies up to 86% and include short circuit, overload, over voltage, and over temperature protection.

PowerGate LLC introduces the Mean Well PID-250 Series of Open-Frame, Dual-Channel Power Supplies with independently regulated and controlled outputs making these ideal for Motor Based Applications that previously required two power supplies and a much higher rating for motor start-ups.
The PID-250 Series features a V1 output of 12/24/36/48 VDC rated for 180-225 watts of continuous power and up to 170% peak load capability with a V2 output of 5V @ 5A for logic control. Each output is isolated and regulated with a separate Remote on/off control of V1 with V2 providing continuous 5V output for control and monitoring of digital circuits. Standard features of the supply include; Short Circuit/Overload/Over Voltage/ Over Temperature Protection, Universal AC input with Active Power Factor Correction; -20~+70°C Convection Cooled Operation; independently adjustable outputs; tight regulation and high efficiency operation up to 86%. The open frame design measures only 8.74 x 3.74 x 1.57¡± with an optional 4-sided cover. Theses supplies are approved to UL/cUL 60950-1, TUV EN60950-1 Safety Standards, CB Report, are RoHS Compliant, EN55022 Class B Emissions and bear the CE Mark.
