Offering 365 W in 3 x 5 in. footprint, HD365 Series provides 18 W/in.³ power density. Open frame switch mode power supplies feature universal AC input with active PFC, convection cooled operation up to 220 W, and standard output voltages of 12, 24, and 48 Vdc. Delivering up to 500 W of continuous power, cPCI AC/DC Power Supplies are compliant with PICMG® 2.11 specification. Units feature 85-264 Vac universal or 18-72 Vdc input, 4 outputs, and hot-swap and N+1 redundant operation.

Power Density the Key to Cost Effectiveness Claims Gresham Power
Enhanced price/performance adds value and maintains reliability
May 2009 - Gresham Power Electronics, the Salisbury based commercial and MIL power solutions supplier continues to push the boundaries of power density in power supply design. Their latest open frame switch mode power supply family, the HD365, offers 365 Watts in a miserly 76 x 127mm (3 x 5 inch) footprint providing a class leading 18W/in3 power density. Just a few years ago this package size could only be expected to offer 100 watts.
For cPCI system builders Gresham's latest rack mount product the CPCI-6U-600 now provides 600W in a standard 6U with universal AC or a 48V DC input. The CPCI-6U-600 offers the highest power density on the market and some 20% more power from its standard package than most competitors.

The HD365 Series of switching power supplies from Gresham Power utilises advanced component and circuit technologies to deliver the industry's smallest 365 Watt switcher. The series has been designed for Medical, Telecom and Industrial Applications and to satisfy 1U height considerations, the package measures only 3.00 x 5.00 x 1.30". All models offer universal AC input with active power factor correction (PFC), flexible output configurations and compliance to worldwide safety and EMC standards. Standard features include, universal AC input with PFC, low profile 1U package, convection cooled operation up to 220 Watts, 12V / 1A auxiliary output to power Fan, RoHS compliant, high efficiency operation of 90% (typical). Standard output voltages are 12, 24 and 48VDC with customer specific alternatives available on request.
Gresham Power's cPCI product range represents the industry's leading cPCI AC/DC power supplies, delivering up to 500 W of continuous power. The complete range of cPCI products incorporate the standard Positronic 47-pin connector and are fully compliant with the PICMG® 2.11 power interface specification. These cPCI power supplies incorporate active power factor correction. An 85-264VAC universal or DC input models covering a range from 18-72VDC, makes them ideal for use in almost any application.
Very high efficiency and power density result from the use of advanced component and circuit technologies, such as synchronous rectification, low profile transformers and SMT components. Gresham Power's unique design uses two converters in parallel, one for the +3.3V and the other for the +5V. This design provides the flexibility for determining unique load requirements for each channel independently and for drawing a full load. The cPCI series provides design engineers with the flexibility they need to meet virtually any design requirements. Standard features include a monitor and control (M&C) system based on an intelligent I2C bus, all models are PICMG 2.11 compliant, offer hot-swap and N+1 redundant operation, and have up to 4 outputs, fully featured status and control functions.
