o 3000 watts on one rack

Today, higher-performance DIN-rail power supplies should include the following basic features - high power density, a wide input range of 3x340-550 VAC and extremely rugged mechanical and electrical design.

The PH1013 1000-watt compact power supply offering 24V/40A has been developed with this in mind and, with a width of 150 mm and a depth of only 127 mm, is far more compact that most of its competitors. Three of these appliances fit onto a 19" frame and, switched to parallel mode, supply a total output current of almost 120A.

For high-load starting currents, the µC-controlled Power Boost offers up to 80A over 2 sec. This can also improve the breaking capacity of fuses in 24V circuits in the event of short-circuiting.

The power supply´s integrated fan allows for full-power operation in any mounting position up to an ambient temperature of 60° C.

Using the adjustable output range from 23.5 to 28.5V, it is also possible to charge a 24V accumulator. The new PH1013 power-supply series has been approved in accordance with EN60950/UL60950 and is UL508 listed.

Optional supplementary text
Thanks to numerous safety and protective features, users can enjoy "all-round protection". These include primary and secondary-side overvoltage protection, overtemperature protec-tion (even switches the power supply off should the fan ever become blocked), as well as protection against overloading and sustained short-circuiting.

MGV offers a wide range of DIN-rail power supplies with outputs of between 15 and 2000 watts. All power supplies are developed and produced in Munich. And MGV offers a three-year guarantee on all standard appliances.
