SL Power Electronics Introduces New 600-Watt Power Supply
VENTURA, CALIF. - April 17, 2008 - SL Power Electronics announced today the newest addition to its series of internal, Condor-branded power supplies. The GEM600 is a single-output switch-mode family that offers customers flexibility in design and performance.
This new line of internal power supplies delivers a peak power of 650 watts with a 10 percent duty cycle and is available in four standard output models ranging from 24 volts to 48 volts.

Condor GEM600 power supplies feature a universal input that accepts any voltage in the range of 90-264 Vac, enabling them to be used in equipment shipped worldwide. Active power factor correction minimizes input harmonic current distortion and ensures compliance with the EN61000-3-2 international safety standard. The GEM600 series employs the latest high frequency switch-mode technology to maximize conversion efficiency.
The Condor GEM600 family measures 11.81 inches by 5.00 inches by 2.79 inches, and is DEMKO-EN60950-1, IEC60950-1, UL/CSA 60950-1 and 60601-1 certified. In addition, an active PFC, OVP, power fail and low inhibit are all standard features.
The GEM600 series is EMI/RFI-compliant and has efficiency ratings of greater than 80 percent with MTBF of 208,000 hours. It can be modified to meet unique power or connectivity requirements. SL Power Electronics also can design a custom solution to meet specific OEM requirements and private label marking needs.
