February 21, 2008 - Available in top flange, side flange, and plain case mounting configurations, Model PC740 includes silver alloy contacts and heavy swinger wires that go down to contacts to carry current load and minimize heat in springs. Two-pole version is rated 40 A, 250 Vac, while 3-pole version is rated 30 A, 250 Vac. Measuring 55.2 x 52.0 x 38 mm plus mounting tabs, relay is suited for driving motors and actuators, battery chargers, heater elements, industrial controls, and safety circuits.

PC740 40A Power Relay Featuring Extra Large Silver Alloy Contacts and Heavy Multi-Stranded Copper Swinger Wires


February 2008 --- Carrollton, TX USA - Picker Components Corp introduces the PC740 featuring large Silver alloy contacts and heavy multi-stranded swinger wires all the way down to the contacts to carry the current load and reduce the heat in the springs.

The PC740 is available in a 2 pole or 3 pole configuration with mounting configurations of Top Flange, Side Flange and Plain Case. Connections are via .250" quick connect terminals.

UL has rated the NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) contacts of the PC740 the same. The 2 pole version is rated at 40A, 250VAC General Purpose and Resistive Load and 2HP 240VAC Motor. The 3 pole version is rated 30A, 250VAC General Purpose and Resistive Load. AC and DC coils are available in standard voltages.

The PC740 is designed for applications driving motors and actuators, battery chargers, heater elements, industrial controls and safety circuits.

Physically the PC740 measures 55.2mm x 52.0mm and 38mm plus mounting tabs. The DC coil consumes 2.5 Watts and the AC coil version consumes 5.5 VA. The PC740 has a service life of 100,000 cycles. The Dielectric Strength is 2,500 Vrms, for 1 minute between coil and contacts.
