Next Generation Vibration Energy Harvestor(TM) Released by Advanced Cerametrics

Lambertville, NJ - June 8, 2009 - Advanced Cerametrics Inc. (ACI) today announced the availability of the new Harvestor-III(TM) line of power modules that capture mechanical vibration energy from the environment to provide perpetual electric power for microcircuit applications. ACI's innovative energy Harvestors can provide continuous voltage output to replace or augment battery power in many applications where wired power is unavailable, inconvenient, or costly. This unique product combines the
company's patented piezoelectric fiber composites (PFCs), with its new best-in-class highlyefficient EH1000 energy management circuitry to power sensors, wireless transponders and other low-power applications.

With performance improvement including faster and higher power availability, Harvestor-III(TM) power modules have reset ACI's market-leading high performance standard for efficiently harvesting ambient mechanical energy. The Harvestor-III(TM) line offers a selection of models and configurations to provide perpetual energy from different ambient vibration environments, and for a host of applications and power needs. With the release of this product line, ACI has made available energy harvesting, power conditioning, power storage and regulated DC output in a compact, convenient, light weight and mountable enclosure. "The Harvestor-III power modules provide an easily integrated alternative to wired or battery power, and offer ACI's leading energy
harvesting in a standard product line. We are pleased with the growing number of leading companies and markets that are finding that environmentally-friendly vibration energy harvesting technology is a cost-effective reality from Advanced Cerametrics today," stated Jerry Ruddle, General Manager of Commercialization.

The Harvestor-III will be displayed June 9-10 at the Sensors Expo and Conference in Rosemont, IL. For more details, contact ACI at 609-397-2900 or www.advancedcerametrics.com.

About Advanced Cerametrics Inc. Energy from motion(TM)

Advanced Cerametrics, Inc. (ACI) pioneered the technology to manufacture ceramic in a flexible fiber form. This technology inexpensively captures the positive properties of ceramics (electrical, thermal, chemical, mechanical) and eliminates the negatives of brittleness and weight.

ACI's ceramic fibers and their composite forms offer breakthrough solutions for energy harvesting, active vibration control, and advanced materials. The Energy Harvestor(TM) provides perpetual electric power from vibration. Active Vibration Control(TM) uses piezo fiber composites to improve structural performance. ACI's smart materials offer advanced properties for military, medical, industrial and consumer applications.
