Based on DIN 41612 standard, Type EMSP male and female connectors are individual modules, constructed of 2- and 3-pin connector bodies that can be clipped together side-by-side for custom configuration. Backplane half consists of female connector, which provides complete protection for hot pin. Male connector has solder pins at 90į to contact pins and 2 pins/contact for board hole diameters of 1.6 mm. Air and creepage distances allow for operating voltage of 750 V.

DIN Power Connector Solutions Now Available
2E SysCom now has available a solution for power supply electronics based on the DIN 41612 standard. Type EMSP male and female connectors are individual modules, constructed of two and three-pin connector bodies that can be clipped together side-by-side for custom configuration. The backplane half is the female connector which provides complete protection for hot pins. The male connector has solder pins at 90 degrees to the contact pins and has 2 pins per contact for board hole diameters of 1.6 mm. The contact side of the pins is offset by 1.27 mm. to the center of the contact strip.
With a current load capacity of 20 A per pin, the connectors have increased air and creepage distances that allow for an operating voltage of 750 V. These connectors are suitable for high-voltage, high-current internal motherboard / daughterboard connections.
Mixed pin H-type connectors with 50 amps per pin and 15 amps per pin are also available.
