DVS Empowering IFX Linux Post Solutions
Hanover, Germany. IFX, well known for the Piranha HD editing and compositing software solutions, has integrated their products with DVS hardware, creating a fully integrated, Linux based, post production suite. The SDTV version of Piranha HD will run on DVS' powerful SDStationOEM video I/O board. IFX is taking advantage of the comprehensive feature set of the board, including real-time color space conversion, integrated RS422 control, 8 and 10 bit color depth.
In combining the worlds of HDTV and SDTV, IFX has chosen DVS' HDStationRGB as the platform for their postproduction system. With the resolution independence of Piranha HD and the support for all common SD and HD formats up to 2k and 4K, IFX is creating a unique solution in the Linux environment.
