ISS Releases New Low Cost 3/5 Axes Preconfigured NC Post Processor

ISS announces the release of VEGAPost, a full featured, low cost, 3/5 axes NC Post Processor which is used to generate NC code. The post processor works with multiple CAD/CAM data, so multiple NC post processors are not necessary. This dramatically reduces the users post processor costs, as well as reducing the learning curve on using different post processors.

The VEGAPost comes fully configured so there is no need to set the post up. This also an end to manually editing M/G codes, feeds and speeds because the post processor is configured to output the correct data for the selected machine tool.

The VEGAPost allows for multiple files to be selected for posting, displays which files are done, as well as flagging data errors (i.e. illegal rotations/ cycles etc.) which are in the file. This helps reduce scrapped parts due to illegal data.

New CAD/CAM systems provide faster and easier programming, but if you don't have a good post processor which outputs the correct data, goals of faster and easier programming are easily lost, because programmers and operators are spending their time modifying programs instead of making parts.

Standard features include: Feedrate override, rapid command override, spindle speed override, axis swapping, axis mirroring, axis scaling, reverse data, insertion of cycle commands, unit selection and much, much more. 5 Axes features include head unwinding/rewind, tool length compensation, prompting for tool numbers/lengths, prompting for units and more.

Customized NC Post Processors are also available.
