New Balluff Transducer Revitalizing Flight Simulators

Balluff announces a new linear position transducer designed especially for replacement of worn out or obsolete position feedback systems used by aircraft flight simulators.
To provide a realistic flight experience, full flight simulators rely on very accurate and reliable closed-loop hydraulic servo control systems to provide necessary position feedback from their hydraulic cylinder legs. Balluff is offering a direct drop-in replacement solution to replace obsolescent legacy systems. The system includes the Micropulse linear position transducer and interface module.

Quick and easy replacement

In most cases, the Balluff Micropulse solution is mechanically and electrically compatible, right down to the host system connector plug. Upgraded features include an easy-to-read internal LCD screen for parameter display, along with pushbutton tuning, to insure a quick and easy setup routine far superior to prior trim pot methodology.

Balluff Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Balluff GmbH, Neuhausen, Germany, is a leading manufacturer of a wide range of inductive, optical, capacitive and magnetic sensors as well as linear position transducers and ID systems. Balluff products for OEM and factory floor solutions are used to control, regulate, automate, assemble, position, and monitor manufacturing, assembly, and packaging sequences for industries including metalworking, automotive, plastics, material handling, wood processing, aerospace, electrical, and electronics.
