Units are available in sealed versions capable of withstanding pressures of 100 Bar or IP68-rated with MS type connectors. DC/DC and 4-20 mA versions feature on board signal conditioning along with screening against electrical interference.

Rugged New Displacement Transducers from Solartron
Solartron Metrology Ltd is pleased to announce the release of the latest addition to its line of Linear position sensors, the SR Series. This extensive range of environmentally hardened Absolute Linear Position Sensors has been developed in response to customer demands for rugged Position Sensors to work in difficult environmental operating conditions in a variety of industrial applications, including Laboratory, Process Control, transportation applications.
Sealed versions capable of withstanding pressures of 100 Bar or IP68 protection with MS type connectors are available, both with High Temperature options when used with remote Analogue or Digital signal conditioning.
Stainless Steel bodies on all the sensors in the range and Mineral Insulated Cable options ensure a high level of chemical resist.
DC/DC and 4-20mA versions use the well proven on board signal conditioning from the popular S Series, along with increased screening against electrical interference, have been carried across to the SR.
The new products have been backed up with extensive investments in new manufacturing plant, tooling and calibration systems installed in Solartrons modern manufacturing facility in the UK. This will ensure that short lead times are available on an almost infinitely variable range of customer selectable configurations via an easy to use Ordering Guide.
