This 200 kV constant potential (CP) model offers 100% CP duty-cycle that provides penetration into Fe. With power rating of 900 W, portable x-ray NDT system delivers radiation output that allows for reduced kV per exposure and exposure times as well as increased film contrast for optimized radiographic imaging.

New model offers identical performance at a lower price point

Valhalla, New York — Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation, the world’s leading manufacturer of standard and custom high voltage power conversion products, is pleased to announce the addition of a new 200kV glass tube model to its Lorad LPX brand of portable x-ray systems. This new model strengthens Spellman’s position in the NDT industry and represents the latest example of Spellman’s commitment to improving and enhancing its Lorad LPX product line.

The new LPX200 portable X-ray system with a glass X-Ray tube insert offers the same high-penetration output as its metal ceramic insert equivalent but at a lower price point. With this addition, users can now select from six different high performance, 200kV constant potential (CP) models: directional or panoramic; air or water cooled; and with a glass or metal ceramic insert.

Spellman’s LPX Series - utilized by some of the world’s top X-Ray OEMs, Integrators and End Users - is proving to be the industry standard for a wide range of imaging applications including CR and DR.  Its 100% CP duty-cycle provides unmatched penetration into Fe, and its dedicated design team continues to refine and expand how LPX can address both existing, and emerging markets.
