New model offers identical performance at a lower price point

Valhalla, New York — Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation, the world’s leading manufacturer of standard and custom high voltage power conversion products, is pleased to announce the addition of a new 200kV glass tube model to its Lorad LPX brand of portable x-ray systems. With this addition, users can now select from six different high performance, 200kV constant potential (CP) models: directional or panoramic; air or water cooled; and with a glass or metal ceramic insert.

Spellman’s LPX Series - utilized by some of the world’s top X-Ray OEMs, Integrators and End Users - is proving to be the industry standard for a wide range of imaging applications including CR and DR.  Its 100% CP duty-cycle provides unmatched penetration into Fe, and its dedicated design team continues to refine and expand how LPX can address both existing, and emerging markets.
