With measurement range of up to 5 km, Model 3C-04 is used for fiber optic identification and fault location on single mode or multimode fiber, and wavelength loss testing. Locator detects breaks and micro-bends even for jacketed fibers, and laser's high power 650 nm can transmit continuous light or adjustable strobe light. Suitable applications include maintenance of fiber optic networks, LAN, FDDI, ATM optical systems, telecommunications, and CATV networks.
