Portable Temperature Datalogger collects data over 2 channels.
October 2, 2013 -
Graphic Dual Channel Thermistor Datalogger, used for monitoring temperature, measures and stores 250,000+ readings per channel from 2 thermistor probes over -40 to +257°F range at 0.1°C resolution. Logging rates can be customized between 2 sec and 1 hr. While memory and USB port enable standalone recording and data download to PC, alarm LEDs alert when temperatures go outside safe limits. Dot-matrix LCD and 3 face buttons let users navigate through onscreen menu and datalogger functions.

CAS DataLoggers Introduces Dual Thermistor Datalogger
Graphic Dual-Channel Datalogger for a Portable Solution
CHESTERLAND OH — CAS DataLoggers and Lascar are pleased to introduce the new Graphic Dual Channel Thermistor Datalogger as a low-cost solution for temperature monitoring applications. The graphic display’s onscreen menu gives users a quick way to view real-time readings and start or stop the logger in the field, while the large memory and USB port enable standalone recording and quick data download to PC. Additionally, the logger’s highly visible alarm LEDs alert you whenever your temperatures go outside safe limits. Log and graph your data in the field and export to PC using the included software. This portable temperature data logger is especially useful for cold chain supply, medical monitoring for fridges and freezers, and HVAC applications. Give us a call and learn more!
This standalone USB data logger measures and stores over 250,000 temperature readings per channel from the 2 provided thermistor probes over a -40 to +125°C (-40 to +257°F) range at a resolution of 0.1ºC. Users can customize logging rates between 2 seconds and 1 hour, set up recording in C° or F°, set high and low audible alarms, and select start mode (immediate start, push-button start, delayed start or temperature triggered start).
Thanks to the logger’s large memory, several data logging sessions can be stored on the device for later upload to a PC via the included Micro USB cable. The thermistor data logger has also been designed with a rugged and robust construction to withstand the rigors of extreme industrial environments and comes supplied with 2 replaceable ½ AA batteries.
The new data logger features a dot-matrix LCD and 3 face buttons to quickly navigate through an onscreen menu. This menu provides users with access to real-time trend analysis, data summaries, current status and the ability to start, stop and restart the data logger without the need to connect to the host PC. Users can reset the max/min reading using the onscreen menu; this introduces an ‘event marker’ into the data which can later be viewed in the graphing software and the data file after download.
Additionally, Lascar’s popular Easylog USB control software is available as a free download from the manufacturer. Easylog is simple to use and runs under Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. Users can setup the data logger as well as download, graph, print and export data to Excel. Each stored logging session is saved as a separate file.
The 2 probes supplied with the data logger use a high-precision thermistor to sense the temperature. Alternative lengths and probe options are available. Users can also extend the probe length by using a suitable extension cable.
