Telescript Introduces Studio Quality "Fold & Go" Teleprompter Systems
New 15", 12" and 8" LCD Teleprompters Deliver Maximum Efficiency & Functionality.
Norwood, NJ (October 15, 2004) - Telescript, Inc. has introduced three new LCD teleprompters with an innovative folding design for maximum efficiency and functionality in the field. The new models include the FPS-150-F 15" and FPS-120-F 12" LCD Teleprompters which fold and unfold with minimum effort into custom cases from Telescript. The company's highly touted DV-8 8" LCD Teleprompter has also been updated with the new folding design and lighter weight monitor.

Telescript's new folding configurations are pre-assembled so that the frame, folding hood, glass and LCD displays are stored as a single compact unit. The units can be quickly unfolded from their custom cases and mounted to Telescript's GuidePlate using the company's unique QuickMount system. All three teleprompters can be mounted to virtually any ENG camera, including cameras with smaller footprints with riser and counterbalance accessories.
The new FPS150-F 15" LCD Folding Field Teleprompter offers the smallest footprint of any 15" teleprompter and weighs just 15 pounds. The broadcast studio quality LCD display features composite (with loop-thru) (2), s-video and high resolution (XVGA) inputs. The FPS150-F's viewing range is up to 40 feet and features patented anti-glare glass for use under a wide range of conditions. Removable cloth side panels are also included. Units are available with 450 nits (standard bright) and 0 to 1800 nits (very hi-bright) to deliver varying levels of brightness to best adapt to shooting conditions. Power can be supplied via a universal XLR connector or 12V battery that can be mounted with an optional battery sled. The FPS-150-F's hood folds completely flat and quickly mounts to the aircraft grade ultra-light aluminum mounting hardware. The complete system fits into a custom case that easily fits into the trunk of a small car.
The new Telescript FPS-120-F further enhances the portability of the award winning FPS-120 field configuration. The new 12.1" LCD teleprompter weighs only 10 pounds and provides the ideal balance of size and weight. It features a viewing range up to 25 feet and features composite (with loop-thru) (2), s-video and high resolution (XGA) inputs. Units are available in 300 nits (standard bright), 700 nits (hi-bright) and 1500 nits (very hi-bright) nits and include Telescript's anti-reflective glass. Removable cloth side panels are also included. Power can be supplied via a universal XLR connector or 12V battery that can be mounted with an optional battery sled.
The DV-8 8" Flat Panel LCD Teleprompter weighs only five pounds with a viewing range up to 15 feet and 300 nits of brightness. Features include composite and S-Video inputs, anti-reflective glass, and power via a XLR connector or 12V battery. The unit can be mounted on virtually any ENG camera including cameras with smaller footprints with riser and counterbalance accessories.
