Palmer Manufacturing Portable Core Storage Racks
SPRINGFIELD, OHIO (March 2008), Palmer Manufacturing a producer of heavy-duty long-lasting foundry and industrial equipment has announced Portable Core Storage Racks.
The design for the rack was driven by requests for a device to easily store, protect, and inventory cores. Providing a rack that could easily be moved to the core machine was also a priority. This heavy-duty rack has seven shelves (29" x 68") and weighs 510 lbs. This rack can hold up to 250 lbs per shelf for a total weigh capacity of 2000 lbs.

The shelf height is adjustable - making it deal for varying core production. A locking bar prevents accidental dropping of shelves. All areas of the shelves are easily accessible. This rack is "low cost insurance against core damage", said Jack Palmer, President of Palmer Manufacturing. "This storage system is a safer way to easily store cores as this rack provides both stability and mobility," he added.
