Portable Racing Scale Features High Accuracy And Repeatability
A new, fully portable scale with four lightweight weighing platforms for fine tuning the weight distribution of race cars, RVs and other vehicles is being introduced by Alliance Scale, Inc. of Canton, Massachusetts.
The Alliance/Intercomp SWII™ Portable Racing Scale includes a weight indicator unit and four lightweight weighing pads to let users display any combination of wheel weights or percentages of weight. Featuring 0.1% accuracy and repeatability, it provides an LCD display, keypad calibration with automatic zero, and 4-channel selection for individual- or all wheels.
Suitable for factory setup and on-track validation of weight distribution, the Alliance/Intercomp SWII™ Portable Racing Scale can perform a typical reading in only 950 milliseconds and is offered in 4,000- and 6,000 lb. capacities. It uses “AA” size rechargeable NiCad or alkaline batteries and each weighing pad weighs only 23 lbs. and measures 15” L x 15” W x 4” H.
