Portable Infrared Gas Analyzer for SF6 ASHRAE 110 Fume Hood and Ventilation Measurements
The InfraRan Analyzer -- a portable, mid-infrared specific vapor analyzer - is designed for easy, on-site measurement of sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) and is ideal for fume hood evaluations as per ASHRAE 110, as well as determining airflow in ventilation systems, rooms and buildings. The InfraRan Specific Vapor Analyzer provides accurate, on-site, real-time measurements of SF6 and is factory calibrated for measuring SF6 in the 0 - 10 parts per million (ppm) concentration range with resolution to 0.01 ppm.
The InfraRan Specific Vapor Analyzer has been designed to be a rugged, field portable instrument, weighing less than 18 lbs. It is ideal for both on-site survey studies and laboratory analyses. The analyzer is factory calibrated for SF6 and operation is via user-friendly, menu-driven software enabling industrial hygienists, as well as non-technical personnel, to obtain easy, accurate measurements. The InfraRan Specific Vapor Analyzer has a internal rechargeable battery for up to 8 hours of continuous field use or it can be operated from a 110/220V power source.
The analyzer comes standard with both analog and digital outputs. The analog output is ideal for use with integrated ventilation software packages. 8 bit digital to analog converter gives 0.01 ppm steps for the 0-2 ppm concentration range. The digital output allows real-time ASCII output of current data and download of data previously logged with InfraRan logging function.
