LAVERNE, Calif., Oct. 9 -- Moisture Register Products, a division of Aqua Measure Instrument Company, announced availability of the latest generation of its popular AM-III microcontroller-based portable moisture meter. The AM-III permits instantaneous, non-destructive moisture measurements on all types of paper and paperboard rolls and stacks, essential for paper industry professionals. The portable moisture meter will also be shown at the Converting and Package Printing Expo, Oct. 15-17 in Las Vegas, NV.
Scientists estimate that we blink our eyes every four seconds. Aqua Measure's Model AM-III accurately takes 16 readings of moisture content in paper every second, displaying the average reading twice in the same period. In the proverbial blink of an eye, the Model AM-III Portable Moisture meter has read the average moisture content of the paper it measures 64 times, displaying eight updated average readings of that content.
Experts in the paper industry have long recognized the need for a tool to provide rapid, accurate measurement of moisture content to provide a high yield of good quality paper and enable efficient energy usage in paper plants. The Model AM-III comes with a rechargeable battery, carrying case, and a recessed digital LED display calibrated directly in percent moisture for 20 pre-programmed types of paper, corrugated and paperboard products. I cheked the merer and one Integrate Circuite is bad(I.C.:7662 ò H9701.
