Equipped with 13 W UV-A black bulb that causes coatings to glow, handheld UV Portable Magnifier features 5-diopter, white crown glass lens with 2.25x magnification. Supplied with protective cover, lens measures 4 x 2.5 in. and provides rectangular viewing area. Plug-in ballast minimizes heat emission and produces flicker-free illumination. Magnifier is suited for inspection of welds, solder joints, flux residues, and hairline stress cracks.

Product Description: UV Portable Magnifier is an illuminated handheld magnifier specially designed for the inspection of conformal coatings. UV Portable Magnifier features a 13W UV-A black bulb which causes such coating to glow brilliantly. A 5-diopter optical-quality, white crown, glass lens provides 2.25X of crystal-clear magnification. Measuring 4" x 2.5", this lens provides a wide rectangular viewing area. It comes standard with a protective lens cover. A plug-in ballast minimizes heat emission and produces flicker-free illumination
UV Portable Magnifier is also perfect for the inspection of welds, solder joints, flux residues and hairline stress cracks. Additional applications include inspection of surfaces and finishes in fields such as criminology, museum and artwork restorations, document authenticity, leak detection, currency verification and gemstone and mineral inspection.
Construction & Finishes: As an added advantage over comparable handheld magnifiers, Luxo's UV Portable Magnifier has a lighter 5-pound glass-fiber reinforced ABS plastic shade and handle which allows ease of operator use. The 10', 2-conductor power cord with plug allows for greater flexibility for inspection "off" the bench top. UV Portable Magnifier is finished in black.
