Capable of welding up to 3/8-in. mild steel in a single pass, the new unit features Miller's patented Auto-Set(TM) technology. With Auto-Set, the user sets the welding wire diameter and dials in the metal thickness and the unit sets optimal voltage and wire-feed, eliminating the need to manually set parameters. Miller's exclusive Multi-Voltage Plug (MVP) allows the user to quickly switch between 120 V and 230 V without the use of tools. Miller's customer research indicated that many users liked flexibility in choice of input power, so the Millermatic 211 Auto-Set with MVP is equipped with Miller's patented Multi-voltage plug or MVP. MVP allows operators to connect 120 V or 230 V primary power receptacles without the use of any tools - users simply choose the plug that fits the receptacle and connect it to the power cord.
