Allmand Introduces a New Line of Portable Indirect Fired Heaters to Provide Safe, Dry Heat

HOLDREGE, Neb. - Allmand Bros. Inc. introduces a new line of indirect oil fired portable heaters designed to provide heated air that is free of moisture and contaminants. With three models that operate on only 120 volts and range in capacity from 320,000 to 505,000 BTU, the Allmand indirect fired heaters are ideal for a variety of construction, mining, aviation, agricultural and municipal applications.

Designed with an industrial grade power burner that is powered by a ¼-horsepower motor, the heaters deliver between 2,500 to 3,100 cfm, and a 200- and 220-degree (F) discharge temperature at 50-degrees (F) ambient.

A heavy-duty heat exchanger serves as a barrier to the flame and allows fumes and combustion products to be vented through a flue stack and away from the heated area. Therefore, the heaters can be used in areas with limited ventilation and hazardous materials without the risk of harm to individuals, equipment, cargo or buildings. An indirect flame also eliminates residue from combustion products and prevents chemical reactions with epoxies and concrete.

The Allmand heaters also feature a non-pressurized tank, which allows them to run in areas where pressurized fuel is prohibited for safety reasons or combustible fumes and dust are present. To ensure that each heater meets the highest safety standards, every unit is individually tested according to CSA and International ETL standards and easily meet OSHA approval regulations.

An indirect flame combined with air outlets allow for additional ductwork to be attached, which increases the ability to distribute clean heated air to specific areas. Ductwork allows the units to be placed away from the job-site preventing the heater from taking up valuable workspace and adds ease to heating hard to reach components such as equipment engines. With an optional remote thermostat control, the operator can easily maintain the desired temperature from a distance.

The heaters provide optimum durability and reliability in the harshest conditions with an independent fan and combustion air feeds that ensure quick winter starts. The heaters also provide superior convenience with heavy-duty 16-inch wheels for transporting and 42-gallon fuel tanks that reduce time spent refueling. Additionally, the heaters' design promotes easy access to make service and routine maintenance quick and simple.

Allmand Bros. Inc., established in 1938, is a leading manufacturer of Allmand portable light towers, compact loader backhoes, Port-A-Liteâ„¢ light stands, trailer mounted arrowboards and message boards, job-site heaters and EZ Breaker concrete breakers.
