June 10, 2005 - New Yorker Portable Hoist attaches to scaffolding, I-beams, and trestle/monorails. With lifting capacity of 650 lb, unit can travel up to 350 ft at speeds to 80 fpm. Electrical controller has overloading sensing device that protects motor from damage caused by overwork or poor power supply, and non-rotating cable helps prevent loads from spinning while lifting and lowering objects. Suited for high-rise construction, hoist meets or exceeds ANSI and OSHA specifications.
