Allmand Maxi-Heat, Portable Heater Keeps Workers and Equipment Warm on Job Site

HOLDREGE, Neb. - From warehouse to wilderness, the Allmand Maxi-Heat portable heater resolves problems associated with cold weather work conditions by providing clean, breathable, heated air at the job site. The unit efficiently warms air to help keep workers and equipment in top form.

The Maxi Heat's in-direct fired design eliminates problem-causing moisture associated with direct-fired heaters. The unit draws in and heats outside air, delivering contaminant-free, warm, dry air precisely where needed for the particular job. Combustion gasses exhaust away from the machine to create an ideal environment for curing concrete and drywall mud, drying rail cars, painting bridges, warehouse construction and other coid weather applications.

The enclosed twin heater units are rated at a total output of 1,000,000 BTUs per hour delivering a maximum of 5600 cfm, with as much as a 180-degree (F) temperature rise above ambient. All
performance ratings are maximums at sea level. Flexible ducting can be used to distribute the heated air to the work area. Additional options include a lockable accessory/tool box or duct storage box and flexible ducting.

The Maxi Heat features a quiet, efficient Isuzu power unit and a 191 U.S.-gallon fuel tank, permitting unattended operation for more than 24 hours. A low-oil pressure, high-temperature shutdown system protects the engine from costly damage.

The portable heater is CSA approved.
