CENTER, Texas, - The new Port-A-CoolŪ Hurricane portable evaporative cooling unit from Port-A-Cool, LLC hits the market today with new digital operating features along with increased water capacity and the largest airflow of any 36-inch unit on the market.
The new Port-A-CoolŪ Hurricane unit combines the company's proven variable-speed motor and dual water fill with a new low-water shutoff, digital timer and temperature sensor. The all-new housing design offers increased 64-gallon water capacity and 3,500 CFM of cooled air delivery, the most of any 36-inch evaporative cooler offered.
The digital control panel features touch sensitive buttons for easy operation. The status indicators let the operator know when water levels are low, and when the pump and fan are in operation. Additional features on the digital panel are the unit temperature display, fan speed, and timer program.
The Port-A-Cool Hurricane is energy efficient. It requires only 11.4 amps for pump and motor operation, making operation costs a fraction of that of traditional air conditioning. As with all Port-A-Cool portable evaporative cooling units, the Port-A-Cool Hurricane is also environmentally friendly. Port-A-Cool portable evaporative cooling units require no chemicals or refrigerants to produce cool air output.
In addition to the high tech features, efficient and environmentally friendly operation, the Port-A-Cool Hurricane sports a new exterior design as well. All Port-A-Cool unit housings are durable one-piece molded polyethylene design, rust-free and leak-proof, and can be produced in your team or company's color through special order.
