Newly-Updated PK2X Portable, Digital Stroboscope Delivers Outstanding Performance at a Reasonable Price
The newly enhanced CheckLine® PK2X portable, digital stroboscope adds several impressive features while remaining among the world's smallest, most affordably priced, industrial stroboscopes.
Manufactured in Germany to the highest quality standards, the new PK2X benefits from more than 11-years of continuous design and manufacturing improvements since the original PK1 Pocket Strobe was introduced in 1996.
The PK2X's long-lasting flash tube now delivers a flash brightness of 1,200 Lux (150% brighter than the PK2) and a flash rate of up to 12,000 flashes per minute, while it's new rechargeable Lithium-ion battery provides a full two hours of continuous use. In addition, the PK2X can now be connected to an AC power source for continuous operation, using the supplied universal voltage, AC-Adapter/Charger. It works anywhere in the world!
The PK2X is CE-certified, so it meets the industry's toughest safety and performance standards. It provides highly accurate speed control with drift-free operation, a resolution of ±1 RPM over the entire range and offers external triggering capability if an external sensor is used for flash rate control.
Lighter than the earlier PK2 model, and small enough to be operated with one hand, the PK2X performs as well as comparably larger and heavier "pistol grip" type models. It fits easily in the a pocket or can be carried in an optional belt holster. The PK2X is ideal for non-contact RPM measurement, as well as for inspecting moving parts by "freezing" or "slowing down" the action.
The PK2X is supplied as a complete kit that includes the strobe, universal AC-Adapter/Charger, free "traceable" calibration certificate and hard-plastic carrying case. A threaded insert for mounting to an articulating arm or other fixtures is provided. A signal output for connection to vibration and machine condition analyzers is also optionally available.
