It is made from ether-based polyurethane, and resists attack from moisture, humidity, and fungus. Tubing is naturally flexible and does not contain plasticizers, which can leach out and cause tube hardening or flow contamination. SUPERTHANE resists kinking, tearing, abrasion, weathering, and radiation exposure.

Gives Customers More Options to Better Fit Their Needs
Southampton, PA - NewAge Industries Inc. announces the expansion of SUPERTHANEŽ HARD DUROMETER to include more sizes. A special Shore A 95 hardness polyurethane tubing, SUPERTHANE HARD DUROMETER is ideal for instrumentation lines and mates easily with push-to-connect fittings.
The SUPERTHANE HARD DUROMETER line was expanded to better meet the requirements of customers and prospects. "Customers were asking for 3/4" O.D. which we had not yet manufactured," says NewAge Industries' Director of Marketing, Donald G. Warner.
"Our job is to listen to our customers and respond to their needs, so we added the 3/4" size to our stock product offering." NewAge also added another popular O.D. size, 9/16", to the line.
Metric-sized SUPERTHANE HARD DUROMETER tubing, which is requested more and more frequently, was also expanded. Now available are 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12mm O.D. (previously, only 6mm and 8mm were available).
Uses for flexible SUPERTHANE HARD DUROMETER tubing include pneumatic control systems, automated machinery and robotics, and sensing systems. Applications that call for multiple line identification-manifold connections, various fluid feeds, lubrication lines, and fluid circuitry-can take advantage of eleven opaque and five transparent colors. Sizes range from 1/8" through 3/4" O.D. and from 3mm through 12mm. (Not all colors are available in all sizes.)
